Beast Fable Society:The Congress
In accordance with its objectives,
the Society holds an international congress annually in a different world
center Sites have included Agadir (1988), Copenhagen (1989), Mayagüez
(1990), Margarita Island/Caracas (1991), Glasgow (1992), Marrakech, Morocco
(2001), and Malta (2002).
Papers (in English) are welcome from littérateurs, creative writers, nature writers, and literary scholars; historians; artists; philosophers; theologians; scientists; economists; ethicists; animal lovers; journalists who cover animal rights in the media (old journalism adage: “‘Dog bites man’ is not a story, but ‘man bites dog’ is.”); and champions of animal rights.
N.B. All papers and original fables delivered at the Congress will be considered for publication in Bestia, the Society’s refereed Yearbook.

To Register for the Congress
Only paid, current Society members
may register for the congress by printing, filling out, and returning the
Registration Form below with a check payable to the Beast Fable Society.
BFS is unable to process credit-card payments for congress registration.
Refunds
Membership dues are nonrefundable.
Requests for refunds of registration fees must be made in writing at least
60 days before the Congress begins. A $20 handling charge will be deducted.
No refunds will be made for requests made after registration packets have
been received.
